SBI Clerk Apply Online 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Please Note: Only SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are eligible for this post; these are backlog vacancies. General (UR) and EWS candidates are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Final-year or final-semester students are also eligible to apply for this recruitment.
- Candidates who are working in SBI as a clerk are not eligible for this post.
- Applicants who have worked previously in the clerk cadre are not eligible.

The minimum age is 20 years, and the maximum age is 28 years as on 1 April 2026. Candidates must be born between 2 April 1998 and 1 April 2006.

- Upload a passport-size photograph, left-hand thumb impression, and handwritten declaration properly.
- Pay the application fee online via Debit card, Credit Card, and UPI.

SBI Clerk Apply Online 2026 – Important Instructions
- Under this recruitment, candidates can apply for only one State/UT.
- Before going to the examination hall, the candidate should carry a valid photo ID, admit card (call letter), and two passport-size photographs.
- Candidates must know the local language of his/her State/UT. Those candidates who don’t know the local language in Class 10 or 12 must pass a local language test before joining.
- Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any electronic devices to the examination hall.
